- To provide professional development for, and recognition of, continuity of care professionals.
- To acknowledge the individuals current competence in a highly specialized field.
- Candidates must meet educational and work experience requirements.
- Must pass the written examination.
- Authorizes the use of "Certification in Continuity of Care, Advanced (A-CCC)".
